Wildcat Field is a baseball field on the campus of Clear Creek High School in League City, Texas. It is named after the school's mascot, the "Wildcats." It is located adjacent to the Clear Creek Independent School District Stadium. Clear Creek Independent School District (CCISD) is a school district based in League City, Texas, United States. The district serves most of the Clear Lake Area and some other neighboring parts of the Houston metropolitan area. CCISD is the 29th largest school district in Texas, spanning 103 square miles and serving over 41,000 students. The Bay Area Toros was a professional baseball team based in Texas City, Texas, in the United States. The Toros were a member of the Continental Baseball League, which is not affiliated with Major League Baseball. From the 2008 season to 2009, the Toros played their home games at Robinson Stadium. The Continental Baseball League, based in Addison, Texas, was an independent minor league professional baseball league that operated for four seasons, from 2007 to 2010. The league conceived as a professional, independent baseball organization operating in the U.S. states of New Mexico, Louisiana and Texas in cities not served by Major League Baseball or Minor League Baseball teams nor affiliated with either. The league was founded by Ron Baron and former major leaguer Jay Johnstone. After a shortened 2010 season, the Continental Baseball League ceased operations after the league championship was played on July 31. League City, Texas
League City is a city in the U.S. state of Texas, in Galveston County, within the metropolitan area. As of the 2020 census, the city had a population of 112,129. The city of League City has a small portion north of Clear Creek within Harris County zoned for residential and commercial uses. It is home to several waterside resorts, such as South Shore Harbor Resort and Conference Center and Waterford Harbor and Yacht Club Marina, popular with residents of nearby Houston.
