"Wild at Heart" is the third single from Australian alternative rock rock band, Birds of Tokyo's self-titled third album, ''Birds of Tokyo''. The song peaked at No. 50 on the Australian Singles Chart in February 2011 and was certified gold. It was listed at No. 47 in Triple J Hottest 100, 2010. At the ARIA Music Awards of 2011, the song was nominated for Single of the Year, but lost to "Somebody That I Used to Know" by Gotye and Kimbra. Birds of Tokyo are an Australian alternative rock band from Perth, Western Australia. Their debut album, ''Day One,'' gained them domestic success, reaching number three on the AIR Independent Album charts and spending a total of 36 consecutive weeks in the top ten. "Somebody That I Used to Know" is a song written, produced, and performed by Belgian-Australian singer-songwriter Gotye featuring vocals from New Zealand singer Kimbra. Wouter André "Wally" De Backer (born 21 May 1980), better known by his stage name Gotye ( ), is a Belgian-Australian multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter. The name "Gotye" is a pronunciation respelling of "Gauthier", the French cognate of his Dutch given name "Wouter".
