"Wild Honey" is a song by the rock band U2. It is the seventh track on their 2000 album '' All That You Can't Leave Behind''. The song was played eleven times during the Elevation Tour. Writing and recording "Wild Honey" runs for 3:47 and is played in common time at a tempo of 125 beats per minute. According to guitarist The Edge, "Wild Honey" broke up the album before the next track " Peace on Earth", and its placement in the running order was a misjudgement. ''All That You Can't Leave Behind'' is the tenth studio album by Irish rock band U2. It was produced by Brian Eno and Daniel Lanois, and was released on 30October 2000 through Island Records and Interscope Records. Following the band's experimentation with alternative rock and dance music in the 1990s and the mixed reception to their 1997 album, '' Pop'', U2 returned to a sound more akin to their earlier records for ''All That You Can't Leave Behind''. The group reunited with Eno and Lanois, who had produced three prior U2 albums together. The record was originally named "U2000", which had been a working title for their PopMart Tour. The album received positive reviews from most critics, reached number one in 32 countries, and sold over 12million copies. Larry Mullen, Jr
Laurence Joseph Mullen Jr. (; born 31 October 1961) is an Irish musician, best known as the drummer and co-founder of the rock band U2. Mullen was born in Dublin, where he attended Mount Temple Comprehensive School. In 1976, he co-founded U2 after posting a message on the school's notice board in search of musicians. A member of the band since its inception, he has recorded 14 studio albums with U2. Sir George Ivan Morrison (born 31 August 1945), known professionally as Van Morrison, is a Northern Irish singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist whose recording career spans seven decades. He has won two Grammy Awards. As a teenager in the late 1950s, he played a variety of instruments such as guitar, harmonica, keyboards and saxophone for several Irish showbands, covering the popular hits of that time. "Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da" is a song by the English rock band the Beatles from their 1968 double album ''The Beatles'' (also known as "the White Album"). It was written by Paul McCartney and credited to the Lennon–McCartney partnership. "Peace on Earth" is a song by rock band U2 and the eighth track on their 2000 album ''All That You Can't Leave Behind''. Its lyrics were inspired by the Omagh bombing in Northern Ireland on 15 August 1998. The song lists the names of people killed in the bombing. Similarly, inspiration for the lyric, "She never got to say goodbye / To see the colour in his eyes / Now he's in the dirt" comes from the funeral of James Barker, another victim of the bombing. ''The Irish Times'' quoted his mother as stating, "I never realised how green his eyes were." After the September 11, 2001 attacks, "Peace on Earth" took on additional meaning and consequently was used as an encore song during the band's Elevation Tour, coupled with " Walk On".
