Alice Kristina Ingrid Gernandt (born 23 July 1982) better known by her stage name Ace Wilder, is a Swedish singer and songwriter. She first received public attention while taking part in Melodifestivalen 2014. Early life Wilder was born on July 23, 1982, in Stockholm, Sweden. She grew up in several places around the world, and for a long time she lived in Miami, Florida in the United States. She is the great-niece of radio personality Anders Gernandt. Career 2013–2015: Breakthrough and ''Busy Doin' Nothin'' After several years of singing and dancing behind international singers on world tours, Wilder decided in 2012 to launch her solo career. Peter Boström (born May 19, 1971) is a Swedish music producer and songwriter. He is also known as Bassflow. Boström wrote his first song at the age of seven. In 1992, at the age of 21, he started Bassflow Productions, a production company near Stockholm, Sweden. As a producer, he worked with a number of well-known Swedish artists including Bosson, Basic Element, Petrus, E-Type, Ola Svensson, Martin Stenmarck, Carola, and Charlotte Perrelli. He also wrote a number of songs for Melodifestivalen performers. In 2008, he signed for peermusic Sweden. Melodifestivalen 2017 was the 57th edition of the Swedish music competition Melodifestivalen, which selected Sweden's entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2017. The competition was organised by Sveriges Television (SVT) and took place over a six-week period between 4 February and 11 March 2017. The format of the competition consisted of 6 shows: 4 heat rounds, a second chance round and a final. An initial 28 entries were selected for the competition through three methods: an open call for song submissions, direct invitations to specific artists and songwriters and a wildcard given to one of the artists that participated in the ''Svensktoppen nästa'' competition organised by Sveriges Radio P4. An ace is a playing card, die or domino with a single pip. In the standard French deck, an ace has a single suit symbol (a heart, diamond, spade, or club) located in the middle of the card, sometimes large and decorated, especially in the case of the ace of spades.
