Wild C.A.T.s (TV Series)
''Wild C.A.T.S'' is a half-hour animated television series based on the comics series of the same name and developed for television by David Wise. It aired on CBS for one season from October 1, 1994, to January 21, 1995. The series was produced by WildStorm Productions in association with Nelvana. Overview When the evil Daemonites emerge from the shadows, multi-billionaire Jacob Marlowe assembles the Wild C.A.T.s, a team of warriors who are descendants of the heroic Kherubim race. Production ''Wild C.A.T.S'', along with ''Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles'' and ''Skeleton Warriors'', was grouped into the "Action Zone" showcase that used a wraparound animated fly-though pre-credit sequence to bookend the three very different programs. Nelvana
Nelvana Enterprises, Inc. (; previously known as Nelvana Limited, sometimes known as Nelvana Animation and simply Nelvana or Nelvana Communications) is a Canadian animation studio and entertainment company owned by Corus Entertainment. Dan Hennessey
Dan Hennessey (born August 25)https://www.behindthevoiceactors.com/Dan-Hennessey/ is a Canadian voice director and voice actor who, early on in his career, performed with a children's comedy troupe The Zoo Factory (with John Stocker, Bruce Gordon, Harriet Cohen, and Jerelyn Homer). That same year, in 1973, he played Claudius, King of Denmark in his first film, a Canadian adaptation of Shakespeare's ''Hamlet'' play. Colin Fox (born November 20, 1938) is a Canadian character actor. Helspont is a fictional character, a former supervillain in Wildstorm's comics who was transplanted to the DC Comics Universe. In addition to the WildC.A.T.s, he has also fought Team One, Gen¹³, Backlash, and when folded into the DC Universe, Superman. Fictional character biography A member of the alien race known as the Daemonites, Helspont was a military lord, essentially the general who would command Daemonite forces in the field. Warblade is a comic book character from DC Comics/Wildstorm. Publication history Warblade starred in two of his own miniseries, '' Warblade: Endangered Species'' in 1995 and ''The Razors Edge: Warblade'' in 2004/2005. Fictional character biography Warblade is the special codename picked by Reno Bryce, a long-green-haired artist. In his youth, Reno's parents were killed by the alien Daemonites. Reno survived and swore vengeance against them, dedicating his life to martial arts to avenge them. He was kidnapped by the organization known as Cyberdata, brainwashed and transformed into a member of their strike team, the S.H.O.C.s. Grifter (Cole Cash) is a fictional superhero who has appeared in books published by Wildstorm Productions and DC Comics.
