Fatin Abdel Wahab ( ar, فطين عبد الوهاب; 22 November 1913 – 12 May 1972) was an Egyptian film director. He directed 52 films between 1949 and 1970. His 1961 film ''Wife Number 13'' was entered into the 12th Berlin International Film Festival. His 1965 film ''Driven from Paradise'' was entered into the 4th Moscow International Film Festival. Abo El Seoud El Ebiary (also credited as ''Aboul Soud Ibiary'', ''Abu Seoud El-Ibiary''; ar, أبو السعود الإبياري) (November 9, 1910 – March 17, 1969) was an Egyptians, Egyptian comic screenwriter, playwright, lyricist, and journalist. Rushdy Saiid El Bughdady Abaza ( arz, رشدي سعيد البوغدادي أباظة) (3 August 1926 – 27 July 1980) was an Egyptian film and television actor. He was considered one of the most charming actors in the Egyptian film industry. He died of brain cancer at the age of 53. Family Rushdy Abaza was born in Sharqia, Egypt, to Egyptian father, Said Abaza, belonging to one of Egypt's most well-known families, the Abaza family. She started her career in Alexandria in some tragedic roles before she was discovered by the Egyptian film director Fateen Abdul Wahab to work as a comedian in TV, cinema and theatres. Widad Hamdi ( ar, وداد حمدى) was an Egyptian actress. She starred in over 600 films during her lifetime, and almost all her roles were as a servant or maid. Early life and career Hamdi was born on March 7, 1924, in Kafr El-Sheikh, Egypt. She studied at the Institute of Representation and graduated after two years. Hamdi started her career as a singer. Her first film was Henry Barakat's ''This Was My Father's Crime'' (1945). She worked with the Egyptian National Troupe on several plays. Hamdi retired in the sixties but was called out of retirement to work on the play ''Tamr Henna''. Hamdi was married 3 times, to composer Muhammad al-Mougy and actors Salaah Kabeel and Muhammad al-Toukhy. Death Hamdi was killed in 1994. She was stabbed 35 times in the neck, chest, and abdomen. Her killer was convicted and later, executed. She died with very little money to her name.
