Who We Are (Lifehouse Album)
''Who We Are'' is the fourth studio album by American alternative rock band Lifehouse. It was first released via compact disc in the United States on June 18, 2007 by Geffen Records. It was released via digital download the next day on June 19, 2007. The band entered the studio without any demos recorded and only had lyrics from Lifehouse lead singer Jason Wade. The album received positive reviews from critics, and peaked at number fourteen on the ''Billboard'' 200, selling 49,000 copies in its first week. It also managed to chart in the top twenty of ''Billboards Alternative Albums, Digital Albums, and Rock Albums charts the first week it was released. It was certified Gold in the United States by the RIAA on October 22, 2008. The album's lead single, " First Time", was released May 7, 2007, and charted in several countries. Lifehouse (band)
Lifehouse is an American rock music, rock band from Los Angeles comprising Jason Wade (lead vocals, rhythm guitar, piano), Rick Woolstenhulme Jr. (drums, percussion), Bryce Soderberg (bass, vocals), and Steve Stout (lead guitar). The band came to mainstream prominence in 2001 with the hit single "Hanging by a Moment" from their debut studio album ''No Name Face''. The song was number one for three weeks on the ''Billboard'' Modern Rock Tracks chart and peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100, ''Billboard'' Hot 100 chart. The single won a ''Billboard'' Music Award for Billboard Year-End Hot 100 singles of 2001, Hot 100 Single of the Year, having spent 20 weeks in the top ten and more than a year on the charts. The Canadian Hot 100 is a music industry record chart in Canada for songs, published weekly by '' Billboard'' magazine. The Canadian Hot 100 was launched on the issue dated March 31, 2007, and is currently the standard record chart in Canada; a new chart is compiled and officially released to the public by ''Billboard'' on Tuesdays but post-dated to the following Saturday. The chart is similar to ''Billboard''s US-based Hot 100 in that it combines physical and digital sales as measured by Nielsen SoundScan, streaming activity data provided by online music sources, and radio airplay as measured by Broadcast Data Systems. Plastic Ono Band
The Plastic Ono Band was a rock band formed by John Lennon and Yoko Ono in 1969 for their collaborative and solo projects based on their 1968 Fluxus conceptual art project of the same name. Lennon and Ono began a personal and artistic relationship in 1968, collaborating on several experimental releases. After their marriage in 1969, they decided their future endeavours would be credited to the Plastic Ono Band. The band featured a rotating line-up of musicians including Eric Clapton, Klaus Voormann, Alan White, Billy Preston, Jim Keltner, Keith Moon, Delaney & Bonnie and Friends, and Lennon's former Beatles bandmates George Harrison and Ringo Starr.
