Who Dunnit
''Who Dunnit'' is a Midway pinball machine with a 1940s style and a murder mystery theme. The playfield features up to five different murder mysteries by revealing clues by sending the ball to an elevator, phone, or slot machine. The machine accepts up to four players, and features four-ball play. An interpretation of "Peter Gunn" is used as the primary background music, with portions of " Theme from ''A Summer Place''" playing during certain modes. Rules The aim of the game is to solve five murder mysteries by interrogating suspects and finding evidence before heading to the Roof in the game to catch the killer. There can be a maximum of four balls in play at any time, and it can support up to four players. The player may purchase an extra ball at the end of a game, either by using a credit already on the machine or by inserting coins. Midway Games Inc., known previously as Midway Manufacturing and Bally Midway, and commonly known as simply Midway, was an American video game developer and publisher. The Williams Pinball Controller (WPC) is an arcade system board platform used for several pinball games designed by Williams and Midway (under the ''Bally'' name) between 1990 and early 1999. It is the successor to their earlier System 11 hardware ('' High Speed'', ''Pin*Bot'', ''Black Knight 2000''). Ed Boon
Edward John Boon (born February 22, 1964) is an American video game programmer, voice actor, and director who was employed for over 15 years at Midway Games and since 2011 has worked for Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment in its daughter company NetherRealm Studios. Boon is best known for the widely popular ''Mortal Kombat'' series, which he created with John Tobias, and the ''Injustice'' series. Life and career Boon was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, on February 22, 1964 and graduated from high school at Loyola Academy in Wilmette. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics and computer science from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. After graduation, he was employed by Williams Entertainment in their pinball department, working on approximately 20 pinball games over the next two years.
