Göran Edman
Göran Edman (born 28 April 1956) is a Swedish vocalist. Biography Edman is notable for his session work with many artists through the years but mainly for his early work with guitarist Yngwie Malmsteen. He has also recorded with bands and artists such as Vindictiv, Brazen Abbot, John Norum, Madison, Karmakanic, Street Talk, Kharma, Crossfade (EU), Signum Regis and Richard Andersson among others. Theo Travis
Theo Travis (born 7 July 1964 in Birmingham, England) is a British saxophonist, flautist and composer. He is best known for being a member of Soft Machine which he joined in 2006 while the group was still using the "Legacy" suffix and for being a member of Gong from 1999 to 2010. Biography Travis received his degree in music from the University of Manchester specialising in the works of Shostakovich. He has made eleven solo albums, mostly as a band leader working in the field of jazz, composing and arranging most of the material. However, 2003's ''Slow Life'', on which he is the sole performer, is an ambient album employing loops which prefigures his later work with Travis & Fripp. He has made about the same number of albums again credited to himself and one (or occasionally more) other collaborator(s), including John Foxx and, as half of Travis & Fripp with Robert Fripp. On his albums as band leader, Travis has played with numerous other jazz musicians. Andy Tillison
Andy Tillison (born 21 June 1959) is a British keyboardist and singer best known for his work in the progressive rock bands Parallel or 90 Degrees and The Tangent. Biography Tillison and guitarist/vocalist Guy Manning had an early unsigned band called Gold Frankincense & Disk Drive. The band's final line-up also included Hugh Banton on organ and Dave Albone on drums. One piece by this line-up, "A Gap in the Night", was later included on Parallel or 90 Degrees' ''The Corner of My Room'', followed by the archival release '' No More Travelling Chess''. Tillison and Manning then formed a new band, Parallel or 90 Degrees, with Sam Baine also on keyboards. With Manning temporarily unavailable, Tillison and Baine recorded ''The Corner of My Room'', subsequently released as the band's second album. Roine Stolt
Roine Stolt (born 5 September 1956) is a Swedish guitarist, vocalist and composer. A major figure in Sweden's rock history, Stolt led two of his country's most successful progressive rock bands: Kaipa in the 1970s and The Flower Kings in the 1990s onward. Biography Stolt started his career in the late 1960s playing bass guitar in local rock bands. He switched to guitar in 1973 and in the brief sojourn with Allman Brothers-influenced Orexis. In 1974 he became the guitarist in Kaipa, a professional progressive rock band, he was 17 years old at that time, the group made three successful albums and toured more than 100 gigs a year, including national TV and radio performances in Scandinavia. In 1979 he left Kaipa to form his own group Fantasia and made two albums. The group split up in 1983 and Stolt started working as a solo and session musician, arranger and producer. Jonas Reingold
Jonas Reingold (born 22 April 1969) is a Swedish bass guitarist from Malmö. Biography Reingold started to play bass in 1986 when he subbed for a friend in the local famous act WIRE. The band was happy with his performance and offered him the spot. From 1988 until 1994, he studied music and achieved a master's degree of fine arts in 1994. Busy working as a session player between 1994 and 1996 he finally released his debut album as a band leader in 1995, which was called ''Sweden Bass Orchestra''. It was a bass big band consisting of 5 bass players and a drummer. They also had a guest performance by Niels-Henning Ørsted Pedersen on the disc. Between 1996 and 1999, Reingold was busy recording with various artists and different projects, such as Midnight Sun, Reingold, Sand and Gold and others. It catalogs more than three million album entries and 30 million tracks, as well as information on musicians and bands.
