White Sister was an American hard rock and AOR band formed in 1980. Their song "Save Me Tonight" appeared on the soundtrack album for the 1985 Columbia Pictures film, ''Fright Night''. Their song "April" can be heard in the 1986 Metro-Goldwyn Mayer film, ''Killer Party''. The band also performs in the movie. The band recorded the song "Touch the Sky" which can be heard in the 1986 film ''Thrashin''' starring Josh Brolin. Michael Lord is an American songwriter, composer, producer and Indie recording artist. His 2004 release ''SWAY'' found an audience when his song ''Smile'' was chosen by the Apple iTunes Music Store as their Single of The Week. Other songs from ''SWAY'' including "Bleed" and "Forgiven" soon found their way into hit television shows such as ''Alias (TV series), Alias'' and ''What About Brian''. He followed ''SWAY'' with a mini EP titled ''The String Sessions'' reinterpreting the songs from ''SWAY'' acoustically with a string quartet. FM are a British rock band (referred to as FM UK in North America to avoid confusion with the Canadian progressive rock band FM). They have released thirteen studio albums to date. Twisted Sister was an American heavy metal band originally from Ho-Ho-Kus, New Jersey, and later based on Long Island, New York. Gregg Giuffria (born July 28, 1951) is an American rock musician and businessman. He was the keyboardist for AOR bands Angel, House of Lords, and Giuffria. Career Giuffria is originally from Gulfport, Mississippi, graduating from high school in 1969. A talented keyboardist, he played in several local bands including The Telstars and Flower Power (who released several singles on the Tune Kel label), he moved to the US West Coast where in the mid 1970s he joined Angel. After the band broke up in 1981 Giuffria put together his own band, Giuffria, with vocalist David Glen Eisley, guitarist Craig Goldy, bassist Chuck Wright, and drummer Alan Krigger, and achieved some success with their first eponymous album and first single "Call to the Heart," which made the Top 20 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100. The Roxy Theatre (often just the Roxy) is a nightclub on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood, California, owned by Lou Adler and his son, Nic.
