"Whistle (While You Work It)" is a song by British recording artist Katy Tiz. It was written by Tiz, Kinetics & One Love, and songwriter Emily Warren for Tiz's debut studio album. It was released onto iTunes on 10 February 2015. A Simlish (the language in most of ''The Sims'' games) version of the song was recorded and included in an expansion pack for '' The Sims 4'', titled '' The Sims 4: Get to Work''. Background Tiz said in an interview that she wrote the song about a darker period in her life where she felt like nothing was going her way, but her brother was there to tell her to chin up, keep moving, and never give up. Katy Tiz
Kate Alexandra Tizzard (born 6 July 1988) is a British pop singer-songwriter. She covered Rock Mafia's single "The Big Bang (song), The Big Bang" in 2014 to moderate success. She subsequently signed a recording contract with Atlantic Records. Tiz released a second single called "Whistle (While You Work It)". Career In late 2012, she was signed to Lava Records, Lava/Republic Records, Republic, and Warner/Chappell Music, Warner/Chappell Publishing, and released three stand-alone singles, "Famous", "Heart" and "Red Cup". Shortly after parting ways with Lava/Republic in 2013, Tiz partnered with songwriting/production duo Rock Mafia. The Polish music charts are provided by ZPAV, the Polish Society of the Phonographic Industry (Polish: Związek Producentów Audio-Video). Albums charts In the 1970s and the 1980s, Polish music monthly ''Non Stop'' published a year-end list of the best selling albums in Poland. In the mid-1990s, two monthly sales lists were launched and published in music magazines. The first one was a top 50 compiled by ZPAV, based on shipment, not sales, which continues to be published to date. The other was a top 100 called Gorąca Setka (English: Hot 100), printed monthly in ''Gazeta Muzyczna''. Pop music is a genre of popular music that originated in its modern form during the mid-1950s in the United States and the United Kingdom.
