The Whipsnakes Lacrosse Club is a professional men's field lacrosse team in Premier Lacrosse League (PLL). The Whipsnakes are one of the six founding members of the PLL and the winner of its first two championships; the 2019 season and the 2020 Championship Tournament. 2019 Premier Lacrosse League Season
The 2019 Premier Lacrosse League season was the inaugural season of the Premier Lacrosse League (PLL). The season began on Saturday, June 1 at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts and culminated with a championship game played on Saturday, September 21 at Talen Energy Stadium, now known as Subaru Park, in the Philadelphia suburb of Chester, Pennsylvania. The Loyola Greyhounds men's lacrosse team represents Loyola University Maryland in NCAA Division I lacrosse. Its home matches are played at the Ridley Athletic Complex. Charley Toomey has served as its head coach since 2006. It became a member of the Patriot League along with the university's other intercollegiate athletic programs on July 1, 2013. The Hill Academy is an independent school in Ontario, Canada, for student athletes in Grades 5 -12/PG with a focus on hockey, lacrosse and golf. It is co-ed, and serves grades 5-12.
