While My Heart Beats
''While My Heart Beats'' is the second studio album by the American musician Jeff Ament. It is his second solo album apart from his main band, Pearl Jam, preceded by 2008's '' Tone''. Background The album was recorded between April 2009 and May 2011 at Horseback Court, Ament's studio in Blue Mountain, Montana. Frequent Ament collaborator Richard Stuverud performed drumming duties on most of the album; Ament's Pearl Jam bandmate Matt Cameron drummed for two tracks, "When the Fire Comes" and "War in Your Eyes". Additional guitar work was done on "When the Fire Comes" and "War in Your Eyes" by Pearl Jam's Mike McCready. Joseph Arthur, Ament's bandmate from RNDM, provided the vocals for "When the Fire Comes". Jeff Ament
Jeffrey Allen Ament (born March 10, 1963) is an American musician and songwriter who is best known as the bassist of the American rock band Pearl Jam, which he co-founded alongside Stone Gossard, Mike McCready, and Eddie Vedder. Prior to his work with Pearl Jam, Ament was part of the 1980s Seattle-based grunge rock bands Green River and Mother Love Bone. He is known particularly for playing with the fretless bass, upright bass, and twelve-string bass guitars. Ament is also a member of the bands Temple of the Dog, Three Fish, RNDM, and Tres Mts, and P.E.S.T. In 2008, Ament released his first solo album, '' Tone''. Joseph Arthur
Joseph Arthur (born September 28, 1971) is an American singer-songwriter and artist from Akron, Ohio. He is best known for his solo material, and as a member of Fistful of Mercy and RNDM. Arthur has built his reputation over the years through critically acclaimed releases and constant touring; his unique solo live performances often incorporate the use of a number of distortion and loop pedals, and his shows are recorded live at the soundboard and made available to concertgoers immediately following the show on recordable media. Arthur was discovered by Peter Gabriel in the mid-1990s, and signed to Gabriel's Real World label as the first North American artist on the label's roster. Regan Hagar
Regan Hagar is an American musician. Primarily a drummer, he also plays keyboard and guitar on occasion. He was the drummer in Malfunkshun from 1980 to 1988, featuring Andrew Wood of Mother Love Bone on vocals and Kevin Wood on guitar. He had previously been in the band Maggot Brains, but joined Malfunkshun when their drummer, David Hunt, quit the band after the first show. Hagar has also performed in Satchel with Shawn Smith, and in Brad with Smith and Stone Gossard (from Pearl Jam and formerly Mother Love Bone).
