"Where Were You Last Night" is a single by Swedish singer Ankie Bagger from the 1989 album ''Where Were You Last Night''. Written by Norell Oson Bard, the single was released in October 1989 by Sonet Records. The song entered Swedish ''Trackslistan'' on 11 November 1989 and stayed on the chart for 6 weeks peaking at #4. Released on 4 July 1990 by Polystar Records, it was their eighth single, with Japanese lyrics written by Neko Oikawa. The B-side is a Japanese-language cover of Billie Hughes' "Welcome to the Edge". Prior to the release of the single, Wink member Sachiko Suzuki was sidelined with acute hepatitis. Shoko Aida performed the song alone during TV appearances while Suzuki spent two weeks to recover. Billie Keith Hughes (April 4, 1948 – July 3, 1998) was an American recording artist, songwriter, musician, and record producer. "Wish I Had An Angel" is the ninth single by Finnish symphonic metal band Nightwish, the second from their fifth album ''Once''. The song features vocals by then-vocalist Tarja Turunen and bassist Marko Hietala. The song was still performed live after Turunen's departure with Anette Olzon, before her departure, and current vocalist Floor Jansen afterwards. Nightwish
Nightwish is a Finnish symphonic metal band from Kitee. The band was formed in 1996 by lead songwriter and keyboardist Tuomas Holopainen, guitarist Emppu Vuorinen, and former lead singer Tarja Turunen. The band soon picked up drummer Jukka Nevalainen, and then bassist Sami Vänskä after the release of their debut album, ''Angels Fall First'' (1997). Symphonic metal is a cross-generic style designation for the symphonic subsets of heavy metal music subgenres. It is used to denote any metal band that makes use of symphonic or orchestral elements.
