Where's The Pope
Where's the Pope? were a hardcore punk band from Adelaide, South Australia formed in 1985 with mainstays Frank Pappagalo on vocals and Robert Stafford on bass guitar. In June 1988 they issued ''Straightedge Holocaust'' on Reactor Records and in March 1990, after some line-up changes, they released ''Sunday Afternoon BBQ's'' on Greasy Pop Records. In March 1999 their final album, ''PSI'' appeared on Resist Records before they disbanded that year. Reunion gigs have occurred in 2005 and 2006. History Where's the Pope? were a pioneering hardcore punk, thrash band formed in Adelaide, South Australia in 1985. Hardcore punk (also known as simply hardcore) is a punk rock music genre and subculture that originated in the late 1970s. It is generally faster, harder, and more aggressive than other forms of punk rock. Glenelg, South Australia
Glenelg is a beach-side suburb of the South Australian capital of Adelaide. Located on the shore of Holdfast Bay in Gulf St Vincent, it has become a tourist destination due to its beach and many attractions, home to several hotels and dozens of restaurants.
