''When The Good Times Come'' is the second studio album by British melodic rock band Hard Rain. It was released in 1999 on Eagle Records. Bob Catley has stated that unlike Hard Rain's debut album, ''When The Good Times Come'' was stylistically different from anything they would have recorded as Magnum. Hard Rain (band)
Hard Rain were a British melodic rock band from Birmingham, England. Formed in 1996, following the demise of Magnum. The core of the band are vocalist Bob Catley and guitarist/songwriter Tony Clarkin. After Magnum split, a spin-off group featuring Catley and Clarkin was formed called Hard Rain, with a contemporary and alternative style. They released the albums '' Hard Rain'' in 1997 and ''When the Good Times Come'' in 1999. At this time, Catley was becoming increasingly focused on his solo career, and he quit Hard Rain in 1999, marking the end of a working relationship with Clarkin that dated back to 1972. John Hampton (musician)
John Stephen Hampton (c. 1806 – 1 December 1869) was Governor of Western Australia from 1862 to 1868. Early life Little is known of John Hampton's early life. His death certificate states that he was born in 1810, but other evidence suggests 1806 or perhaps 1807; these latter figures are considered more likely. He undertook medical studies at Edinburgh, graduating with a diploma of medicine in September 1828. He was appointed an assistant naval surgeon with the ''Britannia'', but shortly afterwards was transferred to the ''Sphinx''. In 1832 he was attached to the Plymouth dockyards, where he worked to prevent the spread of cholera. He later served on the ''Savage'', the ''Firebrand'' and finally the ''Portland''. In December 1834 he was promoted to full surgeon, and in March 1843 became surgeon-superintendent.
