Wheels (Restless Heart Album)
''Wheels'' is the second studio album by the American country music group Restless Heart. It was released by RCA Nashville in October 1986. "That Rock Won't Roll", "I'll Still Be Loving You" (#33 US Top 100), "New York (Hold Her Tight)", "Why Does It Have to Be (Wrong or Right)" and the title track were released as singles. The album reached #1 on the Top Country Albums chart and has been certified Gold by the RIAA. Restless Heart
Restless Heart is an American country music band established in 1984. The band's members are Larry Stewart (lead vocals), John Dittrich (drums, vocals), Paul Gregg (bass guitar, vocals), Dave Innis (piano, keyboards, guitar, vocals), and Greg Jennings (lead guitar, mandolin, vocals). Record producer Tim DuBois assembled the band to record demos and chose Verlon Thompson as the original lead singer, but he was replaced by Stewart in this role before the band had recorded any material. Between 1984 and 1998, Restless Heart recorded for RCA Records Nashville, releasing the albums ''Restless Heart'', ''Wheels'', ''Big Dreams in a Small Town'', '' Fast Movin' Train'', '' Big Iron Horses'', and '' Matters of the Heart''. Robert John DiPiero (born March 3, 1951) is an American country music songwriter. The Synclavier is an early digital synthesizer, polyphonic digital sampling system, and music workstation manufactured by New England Digital Corporation of Norwich, Vermont. Austin Roberts (born George Austin Robertson Jr.; September 19, 1945) is an American singer and songwriter. His most successful recording was 1975's "Rocky"; a transatlantic Top 40 hit single. He also wrote several songs that featured in episodes of Scooby-Doo Where Are You! and performed the theme for season 2 of the show. Career Roberts was born on September 19, 1945 in Newport News, Virginia. Van Stephenson
Van Wesley Stephenson (November 4, 1953 – April 8, 2001) was an American singer-songwriter. He scored three US ''Billboard'' Hot 100 hits in the 1980s as a solo artist, and later became tenor vocalist in the country music band BlackHawk in the 1990s. In addition, Van co-wrote several singles for other artists, such as Restless Heart. Stephenson died of melanoma in 2001. Larry Stewart (born March 2, 1959) is an American country music singer, best known for his role as lead singer of the country pop band Restless Heart. In 1993, Stewart left the band in pursuit of a solo career, recording four solo albums and charting eight singles on the ''Billboard'' Hot Country Singles & Tracks (now Hot Country Songs) charts before reuniting with Restless Heart in 2002. His highest-charting solo single was "Alright Already", which peaked at No. 5 in 1993. Biography Stewart moved to Nashville, Tennessee, in the 1980s in pursuit of a career in baseball.
