What About Me (Anne Murray Album)
''What About Me'' is the debut studio album by Anne Murray issued in 1968 on Arc Records. Upon its release, the album was only issued in Canada (it would later be issued in the U.S. on the Pickwick label, following Murray's 1970s chart success there). The album was reissued in Europe on the Astan label under the title ''Both Sides Now'' after original title track "What About Me" was dropped from the album. "Both Sides Now" is the well known Joni Mitchell song covered on the album. Other versions of the album kept the title ''Both Sides Now'' but include the "What About Me" track. In 1980, Chevron Records (UK) released an album (#CHVL 1830) with the same title but with a different cover art – tracks 4 and 5 are a medley and this causes confusion but the Chevron issue is complete. Track listing #"What About Me" (Scott McKenzie) – 3:09 #"Both Sides Now" (Joni Mitchell) – 3:22 #"It's All Over" (Alan MacRae) – 2:09 #"Some Birds" (Ken Tobias) #"For Baby" (John Denver credited ...

''What About Me'' is the fifth album by American psychedelic rock band Quicksilver Messenger Service. Released in December 1970 and recorded partly at the same sessions that produced '' Just for Love'', the album is the last to feature pianist Nicky Hopkins and the last pre-reunion effort to feature founding members David Freiberg and John Cipollina. Reception Writing for Allmusic, music critic Lindsay Planer wrote of the album "Musically, there is little to delineate the fifth long-player from Quicksilver Messenger Service, What About Me, from their previous effort, Just for Love. Not surprisingly, material for both was initiated during a prolific two-month retreat..." What About Me? (Kenny Rogers Song)
"What About Me?" is a song first recorded in 1984 as a trio by singers Kenny Rogers, Kim Carnes, and James Ingram. The song was written by Rogers, noted producer David Foster, and singer-songwriter Richard Marx, who would later achieve superstar status as a musician ("Right Here Waiting", " Now and Forever"). It was the lead single from Rogers' 1984 album of the same name. Background and writing Rogers has described "What About Me?" as "like a three-way love song...Everybody involved said 'Hey, what about me?' I think it's a beautiful record." Originally the male and female parts not sung by Rogers were to be performed by Lionel Richie and Barbra Streisand, but after Richie backed out of the project, Streisand did as well. The second proposed trio of singers was Rogers, Olivia Newton-John, and Jeffrey Osborne, but Newton-John began working on a duet with Barry Gibb of the Bee Gees and decided not to do both projects simultaneously. Osborne had a conflicting schedule as well, so ...

Osment began work on the EP in mid-2008, while filming episodes of the Disney Channel series '' Hannah Montana''. Osment worked with writers and producers such as Max Collins and Tony Fagenson, among others. This EP is no longer available on streaming platforms for unknown reasons. The music on ''All the Right Wrongs'' mainly incorporates pop-rock characteristics, with emphasis on the bass and drums in the majority of the songs. The album also makes heavy use of auto-tune, and has an indie rock feel to it as well. Osment has stated that Alanis Morissette was one of the biggest influences on the album, and listed Morissette's album, ''Jagged Little Pill'', as a major influe ...

Musically, the album is composed of dance tracks with thick Euro synths, cymbal crashing beats and Europop lyrics. Lyrically, the album is composed of songs about love, dancing and relationships. Critical reception of the album overall was positive, with critics praising the new sound and lyrics. Three singles were released from the album. " Evacuate the Dancefloor", the lead single fr ...
