Western Michigan Christian High School (commonly Western Michigan Christian, WMCHS, or WMC) is a 7- 12 private, Calvinist Christian school in Muskegon, Michigan, United States. It is accredited by the Michigan Association of Non-Public Schools, and is a member of Christian Schools International (CSI). History Founded in 1948, the school is owned by the parents of the students it serves. Extracurricular activities WMCHS has 17 athletic teams, drama, chapel, music programs, student council, numerous clubs as well as other voluntary student activities. WMCHS won its third consecutive Class D state title in basketball, 9th all-time, March 27, 2010. Dan Bylsma
Daniel Brian Bylsma (; born September 19, 1970) is an American professional ice hockey coach and former player. He is the head coach of the Coachella Valley Firebirds of the American Hockey League (AHL). He was previously head coach of the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Buffalo Sabres in the National Hockey League (NHL), and was also an assistant coach for the Detroit Red Wings. He also was the former head coach of the United States men's national ice hockey team. Prior to coaching the Sabres, Bylsma was the head coach for the Pittsburgh Penguins, whom he led to a Stanley Cup championship in 2009, just four months after being promoted to Pittsburgh's head coaching position. Dayton Dutch Lions is an American association football, soccer team based in Dayton, Ohio, United States. Founded in 2009, the team plays in USL League Two, the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid. From 2011 to 2014, the team played in the USL Professional Division (USL Pro). Joel DeLass (born September 20, 1986 in Spring Lake, Michigan) is an American soccer coach and former player. Career College and amateur DeLass attended Western Michigan Christian High School, who he helped lead to State and League Championships, and where he was a First Team All-State, All-Region, All-District, All-Area and All-Conference selection in 2003 and 2004 He subsequently played four years of college soccer at Wheaton College. He was an All-CCIW Second Team selection as a sophomore in 2006 and as a junior in 2007, and was his team's captain in his senior year, leading them in scoring, while being named CCIW Player of the Year and earning a spot on the NSCAA Division III All-America First Team and Central Region First Team. The Buffalo Sabres are a professional ice hockey team based in Buffalo, New York.
