Western Mail (film)
''Western Mail'' is a 1942 American Western film directed by Robert Emmett Tansey and starring Tom Keene and Fred Kohler, Jr. Plot Lucky Webster (Fred Kohler, Jr.), a member of the Rivers gang, is uneasy that they have been stealing U.S. mail when robbing trains. Tom Allen (Tom Keene) is undercover and working with Sheriff Big Bill Collins (Glenn Strange) to capture and arrest the gang. Julia Webster (Jean Trent) is concerned about her brother. Lopez Mendoza (Frank Yaconelli) provides some humor as Tom's sidekick. Frank Yaconelli
Frank Yaconelli (October 2, 1898 – November 19, 1965) was an Italian-born American film actor. Biography When he was a child his family emigrated to the United States, settling in Boston. Yaconelli was a character actor playing supporting roles, often Southern European or Mexican immigrants. He was also a noted accordion player, and performed in a number of films. A monogram is a motif (art), motif made by overlapping or combining two or more letters or other graphemes to form one symbol. George Glenn Strange (August 16, 1899 – September 20, 1973) was an American actor who mostly appeared in Western films and was billed as Glenn Strange. He is best remembered for playing Frankenstein's monster in three Universal films during the 1940s and for his role as Sam Noonan, the bartender on CBS's ''Gunsmoke'' television series.
