Western Arms
Western Arms (commonly shortened to "WA") is an airsoft gun manufacturer. They primarily manufacture 1911 and 2011 variants, though they do make several Beretta 92 types and have made other types of pistols. Recently, they have added three types of GBB M4 carbine rifles to their lineup of gas powered replicas. Currently, they only produce gas powered blowback replicas, though they have made gas-electric hybrids in the past. Western Arms' guns generally cost more than other Japanese airsoft manufacturers' GBBs, such as Tokyo Marui. However, in an effort to attract more buyers, they have released a series of MagnaTech pistols, which are priced less than their standard lineup but with slightly reduced quality. Despite the name, the MagnaTech series uses the S.C.W. 3 system. Airsoft
Airsoft is a team game in which participants eliminate opposing players by tag (game), tagging them out of play with airsoft pellets, spherical plastic projectiles shot with mock air gun, air weapons(usually powered by an electronic motor) called airsoft guns. Although similar to paintball in concept and gameplay, airsoft pellets do not leave visible markings on their target and hits are not always apparent. Though the pellets leave bruises or welts on exposed skin (and so protective gear is recommended), the game relies heavily on an honor system in which players who have been Terminal ballistics, hit are expected to call themselves out. M1911 Pistol
The M1911 (Colt 1911 or Colt Government) is a single-action, recoil-operated, semi-automatic pistol chambered for the .45 ACP cartridge. The pistol's formal U.S. military designation as of 1940 was ''Automatic Pistol, Caliber .45, M1911'' for the original model adopted in March 1911, and ''Automatic Pistol, Caliber .45, M1911A1'' for the improved M1911A1 model which entered service in 1926. The designation changed to ''Pistol, Caliber .45, Automatic, M1911A1'' in the Vietnam War era. Beretta 92
The Beretta 92 (also Beretta 96 and Beretta 98) is a series of semi-automatic pistols designed and manufactured by Beretta of Italy. The Beretta 92 was designed in 1975, and production began in 1976. M4 Carbine
The M4 carbine (officially Carbine, Caliber 5.56 mm, M4) is a 5.56×45mm NATO, gas-operated, magazine-fed carbine developed in the United States during the 1980s. Tokyo Marui
is a Japanese manufacturer of airsoft guns and toy cars located in Adachi, Tokyo, and are famous for pioneering the design of battery-powered airsoft guns. Their products are principally sold in Japan, but are also exported worldwide. The company had its own center for airsoft sport called ''Tokyo Marui BB Sports Field'' which was operated during 2009 and 2010. The guns have appeared in numerous movies and it has merchandising arrangements with many games . Strike Witches
is a Japanese media mix originally created by Fumikane Shimada via a series of magazine illustration columns. The franchise has since been adapted into several light novel, manga, and anime series and various video games. The series revolves around teenage girls who use machines attached to their legs to do aerial combat. The OVA preview episode was released in January 2007. The televised anime series later aired between July and September 2008. A second season aired between July and September 2010.
