Western Addiction is an American punk rock band based in San Francisco, California, United States. The band was formed by four veterans of the punk scene. Some of the members previously worked for Fat Wreck Chords. They have toured internationally in both the USA, Europe, and Japan. New Mexican Disaster Squad
New Mexican Disaster Squad was an American hardcore punk band. It was formed in Orlando, Florida in 1999. Their last show was at the Fest 7 on November 1, 2008, though the band did reunite to play Radfest in North Carolina, May 2010. The band's MySpace page describes their sound as "harken ngback to the glory days of American hardcore with equal influences from the east and west coasts". They released four full-length albums, the last, ''Don't Believe'' (2006), on Jade Tree Records. On December 28, 2008, a posting on the band's MySpace page announced that Goldfarb, Minino, and Johnson had joined with Tony Foresta, the vocalist from Municipal Waste, to form a band called No Friends. ''Frail Bray'' is the third studio album by the San Francisco based punk rock band Western Addiction. The album was released by Fat Wreck Chords on May 15, 2020. It was recorded in late 2019 and produced by Jack Shirley, who also produced albums for Jeff Rosenstock, Deafheaven and Joyce Manor. ''Frail Bray'' features guest appearances by Darius Koski from Swingin' Utters and Brenna Red from The Last Gang. It is the first album by Western Addiction with the bass guitarist Mitch Paglia. Background The album was announced by Fat Wreck Chords first officially on March 17. A song was released, "They Burned Our Paintings". On April 20, a new song was released, called "Lurchers". The album is known for featuring a sound heavily inspired by Hardcore punk acts of the 1980s. Enemy You
Enemy You was an American punk rock band from San Francisco, California, United States, that formed in 1997. Biography Prior to their formation, David Jones, the main songwriter in Enemy You, recorded several releases with his pop punk band After School Special on Mutant Pop Records. The group never toured or played a show, but still had a small dedicated following. In 1997, Enemy You was formed and began rehearsing together. They were heavily inspired by Bad Religion and other melodic punk acts. After Enemy You began writing tunes together as a band they received interest from Ben Weasel and his fledgling label, Panic Button Records. Weasel would often call Fat Wreck Chords, and heard about the band through Chris, who was the bassist for Enemy You, and an employee at Fat Wreck Chords. Dead To Me (band)
Dead to Me is an American punk rock band from San Francisco, California, United States, founded by vocalist/guitarist Jack Dalrymple, drummer Brandon Pollack (both from the band One Man Army) and bassist/vocalist Chicken of Western Addiction. Early on, Pollack was replaced by Chicken's cousin Ian Anderson on drums and Nathan Grice joined as a second guitarist. Shortly after the band's second release "Little Brother", Dalrymple left the band to focus on raising his newborn child and to make a full-time commitment as a member of the Swingin' Utters. Guitarist Nathan Grice took over Jack's vocal duties in his absence. After touring and recording as a three-piece for about two years, guitarist Nathan Grice left the band. He was replaced by guitarist/vocalist Sam Johnson (of VRGNS, New Mexican Disaster Squad), and guitarist Ken Yamazaki, formerly of Enemy You and Western Addiction.
