Anders Westenholz (October 21, 1936 – November 21, 2010) was a Danish psychologist and writer. Overview Anders Westenholz became a student in 1955, and a psychologist in 1969. From 1969-76 he was employed by ''Dansk Arbejdsgiverforening'' (English: ''The Confederation of Danish Employers''). He's been included in the prestigious Danish book of biographies, ''Kraks Blå Bog'' (English: ''Krak's Blue Book''). He's been granted financial support or backing from ''Statens Kunstfond'' (English: ''Danish Arts Agency'') eight times throughout his career as a writer. Charles Patrick Paul Freiherr von Westenholz (17 March 1945 – 9 March 2006) was a British alpine skier who competed in the 1964 Winter Olympics. Early life Westenholz was born on 17 March 1945. He was a son of Henry Frederick Everhard Baron von Westenholz (1916–1984) and Marguerite Gordon Ness. Elisabeth Westenholz
Elisabeth Westenholz is a Danish pianist and organist. She has been called one of Denmark’s premier performers by the ''Kristeligt Dagblad''. Biography Westenholz was born in 1942 in Copenhagen. Both her parents played the piano, and her father taught her pieces by Mozart and Bach when she was very young. She began studying piano at the Royal Danish Academy of Music with Harriet Østergaard-Andersen and then subsequently with Ester Vagning. She also lived in Wales for a few months in 1959, where she took a break from school and studied with Patrick Piggott. In Wales, she made her television debut on a local TV station. After her schooling was complete, she studied at Oxford, under 90-year-old Leonie Gombrich, who knew such greats as Brahms, Mahler, and Bruckner. She had additional studies with Bruno Seidlhofer in Vienna. Westenholz also studied the organ with Carl Johann Grum. Joan Goodnick Westenholz
Joan Goodnick Westenholz (1 July 1943 – 2013) was an Assyriologist and the chief curator at the Bible Lands Museum in Jerusalem. She held positions related to academic research at the Oriental Institute (University of Chicago), Harvard University, Ruhr University Bochum (Germany), New York University, Princeton University, and the W. F. Albright Institute of Archaeological Research at Jerusalem. She was one of the first people to research gender studies in relation to the Ancient Near East and she co-founded and edited the inter-disciplinary NIN – Journal of Gender Studies in Antiquity. Frederick Patrick Piers von Westenholz (born 10 December 1943) is an interior designer, former English alpine skier. He competed in two events at the 1964 Winter Olympics. Piers is the son and heir of Henry Baron von Westenholz, and brother of the late banker and fellow skier, Charles von Westenholz. He has been married twice: # to Sarah von Hoffmanstahl (no issue); # to Jane Leveson, with whom he has three children.
