West Of Tombstone
''West of Tombstone'' is an American Western B-movie film directed by Howard Bretherton and starring Charles Starrett. Plot Marshal Steve Langdon hears a rumor that the legendary criminal Billy the Kid is maybe still alive. Langdon finds Billy's coffin empty and believes that the respected older citizen Wilfred Barnet is Billy the Kid. He informs Wilfred’s lovely daughter Carol about. When Barnet confesses his true identity to his daughter and says that he got a second chance by Pat Garrett to start a new life. His clerk overhears the conversation and informs his old gang and this leads to trouble. Barnet helps Marshal Langdon against the gang. They defeat the gang but Barnet is mortally wounded. Steve decides to let the old man rest in peace and reports that Billy the Kid died long ago. Howard Bretherton
Howard Bretherton (13 February 1890, in Tacoma, Washington – 12 April 1969, in San Diego, California) was an American film director, film editor, and the father of film editor David Bretherton. Career He began his career as a propman and then became a film editor during the early 1920s for MGM. He directed his first film, ''While London Sleeps'', in 1926, and thereafter spent more than three decades working mostly as a film director. Of the roughly 100 pictures he directed, most of them were westerns and action/adventure films. The final film he directed was ''Night Raiders (1952 film), Night Raiders'' in 1952. Afterwards, he occasionally worked as a director in television through 1958. Lloyd Bridges
Lloyd Vernet Bridges Jr. (January 15, 1913 – March 10, 1998) was an American film, stage and television actor who starred in a number of television series and appeared in more than 150 feature films. He was the father of four children, including the actors Beau Bridges and Jeff Bridges. He started his career as a contract performer for Columbia Pictures, appearing in films such as '' Sahara'' (1943), '' A Walk in the Sun'' (1945), '' Little Big Horn'' (1951) and '' High Noon'' (1952). He sometimes was credited as George Selk in his later work. Early life Buster was born either Budd Leland Buster or Leland Buster near Colorado Springs, Colorado on June 14, 1891. His parents were John M. Buster and Anna (Annie) Moore Buster, both from Missouri. Marcella Martin
Marcella Martin (June 5, 1916 – October 31, 1986) was an American actress, remembered for her role as Cathleen Calvert in ''Gone with the Wind'' (1939). Born in Illinois, Marcella Martin lived with her first husband John Martin in Shreveport (Louisiana) in the late 1930s. She appeared in a local amateur theatre, where she was found by Hollywood agents who were Searching for Scarlett. Martin was screen-tested for playing Scarlett O'Hara in David O. Selznick's ''Gone with the Wind'' and was for some weeks a leading candidate for the role. Selznick's agent Maxwell Arnow described Martin as "quite good looking" with a "nice figure".
