Kathleen Key (born Kitty Lanahan; April 1, 1903 – December 22, 1954) was an American actress who achieved a brief period of fame during the silent era. She is best remembered for playing Tirzah in the 1925 film '' Ben-Hur''. Early life and career Born in Buffalo, New York, Key made her debut in the 1920 Australian film ''The Jackeroo of Coolabong'', playing a lead role. From that point on to the end of the 1920s, Kathleen Key, sometimes credited as Kathleen Keys, starred in several films, but never really reached stardom itself, and never gained much notice for the roles she had, although there were some exceptions. In 1922, she was featured in ''Omar Khayyam'' (which was not released until 1925 as ''A Lover's Oath'') and played a vamp in '' Where's My Wandering Boy Tonight?''. The same year she signed to play with Charles Buck Jones in ''Vamoos'' for Fox Film. Key spent a year in Australia as a leading lady in Snow Baker productions around this time. Marcella Daly (1901–1966) was an American film actress of the silent era. Daly was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P. H. Daly and a graduate of the Whittier School and Hollywood High School. In June 1924, Daly received publicity when casting director Lewis Mason committed suicide and left a note that said, in part, "Everything I have, please give to Marcella Daly." Sidney D'Albrook
Sidney D'Albrook (May 3, 1886 – May 30, 1948) was an American actor. He was born in Chicago, Illinois, a son of Harry Dahlbruck, a musician, and Jennie McGuire. He was working as an actor in Davenport, Iowa, in 1910, living with his sister Ruth and his mother Jennie. He did films in New York in the teens, and then they moved to Hollywood in 1920. At this point his brother Hal or Harold lived with them for a time. He worked in films until his death, did many character parts. His sister Ruth was an extra in movies and in the television series ''Gunsmoke'' and ''Garrison's Gorillas''. Sid's large collection of movie material was donated to the County of Los Angeles Hollywood Museum after his death by his sister Ruth, in 1962.
