Pototan, Iloilo
Pototan ( krj, Banwa ka Pototan, hil, Banwa sang Pototan, tgl, Bayan ng Pototan), is a 1st class municipality in the province of Iloilo, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 78,298 people. The town lies on the banks of the Suage River, north from Iloilo City. The town has an area of 94 km2, 85% of which is agricultural land. In December 1997, it was declared as the "Christmas Capital of Western Visayas" because of its famed Christmas Festival of Lights.
