West Main Street Commercial Historic District (Statesboro, Georgia)
The West Main Street Commercial Historic District is a historic district (United States), historic district consisting of five brick buildings in downtown Statesboro, Georgia that were built between 1905 and 1923 and that hold a total of 16 storefronts. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989. The "most outstanding" is the Brannen Building, on the south side of West Main St. running east from the corner of Walnut, which hosts a row of five storefronts. The storefronts have pressed metal pilasters and cornices. With (see photo captions page 10 of text). The next two buildings further east, each with three storefronts, are also included. And the first two buildings on the north side of West Main St. running east, with three and two storefronts respectively. Four of the buildings are two-story and one is one-story. Madison Square–West Main Street Historic District is a national historic district located in the Susan B. Anthony Neighborhood of Rochester in Monroe County, New York. The district consists of 102 contributing structures and two contributing sites. Sixty five of the contributing structures are residential, with three contributing dependencies. Also in the district are 24 contributing commercial buildings and nine industrial buildings. The two sites are Susan B. Anthony Square and a former carriage company storage yard. West Main Street Historic District (Charlottesville, Virginia)
The West Main Street Historic District encompasses a late 19th and early 20th century commercial area of Charlottesville, Virginia, developed during the area's growth as a streetcar suburb. It is basically linear in character, extending along West Main Street from Ridge Street in the east to the railroad crossing west of 8th Street in the west. The oldest building in the district is the c. 1820 Inge's Store, and the district includes the city's memorial to Meriwether Lewis and William Clark. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2017. West Main Street Historic District (Chesterfield, South Carolina)
West Main Street Historic District is a national historic district located at Chesterfield, Chesterfield County, South Carolina. The district encompasses 13 contributing buildings in a primarily residential section of the town of Chesterfield dating from about 1858 to 1930. They include the ornate, Gothic Revival Austin-Craig House, built in 1858, and two churches, a school, and five larger residences built between 1900–1930. Many properties are of brick construction. Freedmen of the community built one of the churches in the district in 1878, and it is the only identified ecclesiastical building in Chesterfield to have survived this period.
