West Kendall is an unincorporated community in Dade County, Florida. The boundaries of West Kendall are imprecise, but locals commonly include the CDPs of Country Walk, Three Lakes, The Hammocks, The Crossings, Kendale Lakes, and Kendall West. Kendale Lakes is a census-designated place (CDP) and a suburb of Miami in Miami-Dade County, Florida, United States. The population was 55,646 at the 2020 census. History Kendale Lakes (and all of West Kendall) once had a large Miami Jewish population; many prominent attorneys lived there throughout the mid and late 70s. It was truly a bedroom community up until the mid to late 80s. The portion east of 142 Av and between Sunset Dr and N Kendall Dr was built by Janis homes c. 1970; the portion west of 142 Av. was built by Caravel homes around 1973-74. El Dorado Blvd was once a walk-through outdoor mall with many mom and pop stores called the Kendale Lakes Mall. The West End is a wholly unincorporated area in suburban Miami-Dade County, Florida, United States. It is the collection of communities within and adjacent to County Commission District 11. At the time of the 2010 census, there were 213,839 residents. Geography The West End's boundaries are the Florida Turnpike to the east, Southwest 152nd Street to the south, Krome Avenue to the west and Tamiami Trail (Southwest 8th Street) to the north. Patricia Delgado
Patricia Delgado (born ) is an American ballet dancer, répétiteur and teacher. She joined the Miami City Ballet in 2000, was promoted to principal dancer in 2007 and left in 2017. Since then, she performs as a freelance dancer, stages works by Justin Peck and teaches ballet at The Juilliard School part-time. She served as an associate producer in the 2020 Broadway revival of ''West Side Story'' and as associate choreographer of the 2021 film adaptation of the musical. Early life and training Delgado was born in Miami. Her mother is a psychologist whose family are immigrants from Cuba. Her father is a high school math teacher and basketball coach.
