West Indies Women's Cricket Team In England In 2020
The West Indies women's cricket team toured England to play the England women's cricket team in September 2020. The tour consisted of five Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) matches. The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) confirmed the fixtures, after the planned tour by the South African women's team was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. All of the matches were played behind closed doors at the County Cricket Ground in Derby. The last time the two teams played a match was against each other in the 2020 ICC Women's T20 World Cup on 1 March 2020. England won the match by 46 runs. The tour was the first women's bilateral series to use the Decision Review System (DRS) in all the matches. The third match of the series, on 26 September 2020, was shown free-to-air on the BBC. Heather Knight (cricketer)
Heather Clare Knight (born 26 December 1990) is an English cricketer who is captain of the England women's cricket team. She is a right-handed batter and right arm off spin bowler. Knight played in her 100th Women's One Day International match for England in December 2019. Early life Knight was born on 26 December 1990 in Rochdale and was educated at Plymstock School, a state secondary school in Plymouth, Devon. She was offered a place at the University of Cambridge to study natural sciences, but turned it down so that she would have the time to play cricket. 1993 Women's Cricket World Cup
The 1993 Women's Cricket World Cup was an international cricket tournament played in England from 20 July to 1 August 1993. Hosted by England for the second time, it was the fifth edition of the Women's Cricket World Cup, and came over four years after the preceding 1988 World Cup in Australia. The tournament was organised by the International Women's Cricket Council (IWCC), with matches played over 60 overs. Anya Shrubsole
Anya Shrubsole (born 7 December 1991) is an English cricketer who currently plays for Berkshire, Southern Vipers and the Southern Brave. She played for England between 2008 and 2022, and has previously played domestic cricket for Somerset, Western Storm and Perth Scorchers. Nat Sciver
Natalie Ruth Sciver-Brunt (; ; born 20 August 1992) is an English cricketer. She was the first cricketer for England to take a hat-trick in a Women's Twenty20 International match. The " Natmeg" shot is named after Sciver, from when she has hit a cricket ball through her legs during a game.
