West Hockey Association (field Hockey)
West Hockey Association runs field hockey leagues based in the West of England and South West of England. The leagues feed teams into the Men's and Women's England Hockey Leagues and receives teams from sub-regional (county) leagues. League Structure The male league is West of England & South Wales (WoESW) Hockey League (currently the ''GoCrea8 Hockey League'' for sponsorship reasons) and covers fifteen counties. The league comprises 25 divisions across seven tiers of the league pyramid, with the ''Premiership'' division at Tier 1. The female league is the West Clubs Women's Hockey League, (a separate league association covers South Wales: the ''South Wales Women's Hockey League''.). West of England is a combined authority area in South West England. It is made up of the Bristol, South Gloucestershire, and Bath and North East Somerset unitary authorities. Ashmoor Hockey Club
Ashmoor Hockey Club is a hockey club that was formed in 2003, based primarily in Ashburton, Devon, England. The club has had to play its league matches at Isca College Exeter since around 2007, because the 3G pitch at their home base of South Dartmoor Community College did not meet the new requirements of the International Hockey Federation (FIH) or England Hockey Board, but moved to King Edward VI Community College (KEVICC) in Totnes for the 2017–18 season after their new astro turf was built, so they rarely play at ISCA College during their home matches. They play in purple, green and white hooped socks, white shorts, and purple shirts. The Men's 1st team (formed when the club was established) has risen the equivalent of 8 divisions in their 7 seasons as a team winning 3 leagues and finishing strongly in the other seasons. Clifton Robinsons Hockey Club
Clifton Robinsons Hockey Club is a field hockey club based at Westbury-on-Trym in Bristol. It was formed by the merging of Clifton Ladies Hockey Club and Robinsons Hockey Club. The clubs had shared close links for many years, sharing pitches, umpires, coaches and annual dinners and in summer 2016 joined to form a single club. The Ladies' 1st XI play in the Women's England Hockey League and the Men's 1st XI play in the Men's England Hockey League. The club fields five ladies' and six men's league sides and junior teams. As Clifton Ladies, the club has won the Women's England Hockey League, Women's Cup on four occasions (1998, 2000, 2016 and 2019) and was runner-up in 1996, 1997, 2005, 2013 and 2015. University Of Exeter Hockey Club
The University of Exeter Men's Hockey Club is a field hockey club based in Exeter, Devon, England. The club plays its matches at the Sports Park on the University of Exeter's Streatham Campus. There is a water based pitch and a hybrid pitch. The Men's 1st XI play in the Premier Division of the Men's England Hockey League, which is the highest division in Great Britain. The club fields six men's teams which compete in BUCS leagues on Wednesdays and in local and National leagues at the weekend. A seventh XI was formed in 2014, serving as a Development XI for those working towards a berth in one of the six regular outfits, which now also participates in the local weekend league. Team Bath Buccaneers Hockey Club is a field hockey club based in Bath, Somerset, England. It is one of the largest and most successful Hockey Clubs in the West of England with over 800 members.
