Wes Martin
Wesley Martin (born May 9, 1996) is an American football offensive guard. He played college football at Indiana and was drafted by the Washington Redskins in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft. Martin has also been a member of the New York Giants and Jacksonville Jaguars. Early life and high school Martin grew up in West Milton, Ohio, and attended Milton-Union High School. He was named the Southwestern Buckeye League Offensive Lineman of the Year as a junior and first team All-Ohio as a senior. A 3-star recruit, Martin committed to Indiana over offers from Ball State, Bowling Green, Kent State, Miami (OH), and Ohio. College career Martin spent five years with the Indiana Hoosiers, redshirting his true freshman season. Bowling Green Falcons Football
The Bowling Green Falcons football program is the intercollegiate football team of Bowling Green State University. The team is a member of the NCAA, playing at the Division I Football Bowl Subdivision, formerly Division I-A, level; BGSU football competes within the Mid-American Conference in the East Division. The Falcons have played their home games in Doyt Perry Stadium since 1966. The stadium holds 24,000 spectators. He played college football at San Jose State and was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in the sixth round of the 2016 NFL Draft. Ereck Flowers (born April 25, 1994) is an American football offensive guard who is a free agent. He played college football at the University of Miami and was drafted ninth overall by the New York Giants in the 2015 NFL Draft. 2020 Washington Football Team Season
The 2020 season was the Washington Football Team's 89th in the National Football League and their first under head coach Ron Rivera. The season also marked the first time since their inaugural season as the Braves in 1932 that the team was not known as the Redskins, as they retired the name and logo during the offseason in the wake of the George Floyd protests, after decades of controversy. The team improved upon its 3–13 record in 2019 by going 7–9 and winning the NFC East for the first time since 2015. Brandon Scherff (born December 26, 1991) is an American football guard for the Jacksonville Jaguars of the National Football League (NFL). Redshirt, in United States college athletics, is a delay or suspension of an athlete's participation in order to lengthen their period of eligibility. Typically, a student's athletic eligibility in a given sport is four seasons, aligning with the four years of academic classes typically required to earn a bachelor's degree at an American college or university. However, in a redshirt year, student athletes may attend classes at the college or university, practice with an athletic team, and "suit up" (wear a team uniform) for play – but they may compete in only a limited number of games (see " Use of status" section).
