Wellesley Symphony Orchestra
The Wellesley Symphony Orchestra is an amateur American orchestra based in Wellesley, Massachusetts. It has presented classical, pops, and family concerts since 1948. Wellesley () is a New England town, town in Norfolk County, Massachusetts, Norfolk County, Massachusetts, United States. Wellesley is part of Greater Boston. The population was 29,550 at the time of the 2020 census. Wellesley College, Babson College, and a campus of Massachusetts Bay Community College are located in the town. Max Hobart
Max Hobart is an American conductor and violinist. He is currently the Musical Director of the Wellesley Symphony Orchestra and was formerly the music director of the Boston Civic Symphony. Originally from Nebraska, Hobart grew up in Bell Gardens, California where he learned to play the violin. He later had private study with guitarist John Williams.
