WellNow Urgent Care, formerly Five Star Urgent Care, is a conglomerate of walk-in urgent care clinics that serve as alternatives to emergency rooms across Upstate New York. WellNow Urgent Care was founded in Big Flats, New York in 2012 and relocated its headquarters to Chicago, Illinois in 2022. WellNow employs very few physicians or registered nurses, opting for their practices to be mid-level-driven- by physician assistants, medical assistants, and LPNs being utilized as clinical staff instead. Chittenango is a village located in Madison County, New York, United States. The village is in the southern part of the Town of Sullivan. The population was 5,081 at the 2010 census. Chittenango is the birthplace of L. Frank Baum, author of ''The Wonderful Wizard of Oz''. History The name of the village is derived from the Oneida name for Chittenango Creek, ''Chu-de-nääng′'', meaning "where waters run north." North Syracuse, New York
North Syracuse is a village in Onondaga County, New York, United States. The population was 6,800 at the 2010 census. North Syracuse is located in the towns of Cicero and Clay, north of the city of Syracuse. History The village was originally called Centerville and changed to its present name in 1880. It became an incorporated village in 1925. Among the first settlers, the Fergerson family located there in 1826. They still occupy the same land located in what is now the village center. Painted Post is a village in Steuben County, New York. The village is in the town of Erwin, west of the city of Corning. The population was 1,809 at the 2010 census. The name comes from a Seneca carved post found by explorers at the junction of three local rivers. Corning-Painted Post Airport (7N1) is west of the village. The former Town of Painted Post in 1836 was renamed the Town of Corning. History The Senecas never had a painted post but rather the post that existed in the Painted Post area was not "painted".
