''Welcome to the Blacklist Club'' is the debut studio album by American singer-songwriter, Evan Taubenfeld. It was released on May 18, 2010 by Sire Records, being Taubenfeld's only release with the label. Background Taubenfeld was originally scheduled to release his debut studio album, ''Just Sign Here...'' in early 2006, although inner turmoil and creative differences between Warner Brothers Records and Taubenfeld would result in this effort being scrapped. However, Taubenfeld would continue to record music, now enlisting the assistance of John Fields, which would ultimately be released in 2010 as ''Welcome to the Blacklist Club''. When speaking on the record, Taubenfeld described it as "being bouta hopeless romantic trapped under a cinnamon-coated shell that is L.A., I think your outside hardens when you live out here. Stephen Anthony Ferlazzo Jr. is an American keyboard player, based in California. After graduating at the Berklee School of Music, he has played with two members of Extreme in their projects after the band broke up: he was the keyboardist for Gary Cherone in his Tribe of Judah project, and for Nuno Bettencourt in his DramaGods band. Tom Lord-Alge (born January 17, 1963) is an American music engineer and mixer. He began his career at The Hit Factory in New York. Subsequently, he was the resident mixer at what used to be known as "South Beach Studios", located on the ground floor of the Marlin Hotel. Jason Randolph Scheff (born April 16, 1962) is an American bassist, singer, and songwriter. From 1985 to 2016, he was the bassist and one of the lead vocalists for the rock band Chicago; he is the longest-serving member in the bassist/vocalist position to date. Mike Castonguay is a music producer, musician and songwriter based in Los Angeles, CA. From 2001 to 2004 Mike worked as a producer, songwriter and musical director for Natural (Sony/BMG), an Orlando FL based band led by the boy band mogul Lou Pearlman.
