''Welcome to Fat City'' is the second studio album by Pennsylvania rock band Crobot, it is the last album to feature brothers Jake & Paul Figuero. It was Released 23 September 2016. They started recording the record in January 2016 with record producer Machine in Texas. They announced the album in June 2016 with the first official single "Not for Sale". They have since then released 3 song including title track "Welcome to Fat City", "Plague of the Mammoths" and new single "Play It Cool". Crobot
Crobot is an American hard rock band from Pottsville, Pennsylvania composed of Brandon Yeagley, Chris Bishop, Dan Ryan and Tim Peugh. Beginnings In the mid-2011, Brandon Yeagley and Chris Bishop created Crobot, joined later by brothers Paul and Jake Figueroa, who previously performed similar styles of music in another band. In 2012 the band's original lineup self-released their debut EP, ''The Legend of the Spaceborne Killer'', along with a music video for the eponymous first single. Later that year, the rhythm section of the band was revamped with the addition of the Figueroa brothers on bass and drums. The Figueroa brothers departed from the band early 2017 and were replaced by Dan Ryan on drums and James Alexander Lascu on bass in June 2017. Hard Rock
Hard rock or heavy rock is a loosely defined subgenre of rock music typified by aggressive vocals and distorted electric guitars. Blues Rock
Blues rock is a fusion music genre that combines elements of blues and rock music. Funk rock is a fusion genre that mixes elements of funk and rock. Wind-up Entertainment was an American independent record label founded by Alan and Diana Meltzer in 1997. It was based in New York City and was distributed by BMG Distribution. Wind-up's best-selling artists worldwide were Creed and Evanescence. Alan Moulder (born 11 June 1959) is an English record producer, mixing engineer, and audio engineer. Early life Moulder was born on 11 June 1959 in Boston, Lincolnshire. He was educated at Boston Grammar School. He had an interest in music from an early age, listing Cream and The Beatles among his favourite artists. The first album he bought was ''Electric Warrior'' by T. Rex, and he was impressed by the quality of the recording. He joined his first band as a teenager and recorded a demo in a local studio; it was there that he realised that it had been the production that he had so enjoyed on ''Electric Warrior'', and discovered that he was more interested in music engineering than performing.
