Weki Meki
Weki Meki (; abbreviated as WEME or WKMK) is a South Korean girl group formed by Fantagio in 2017. The group consists of eight members: Suyeon, Elly, Yoojung, Doyeon, Sei, Lua, Rina, and Lucy. History Pre-debut The members started out as trainees under Fantagio i-Teen, a rookie talent development program under Fantagio Entertainment, and were known as i-Teen Girls. In 2015, i-Teen Girls members Kim Do-yeon, Choi Yoo-jung, Lua, Lucy and Elly (as well as former trainees Chu Ye-jin and Lee Soo-min) had numerous cameos in label mates Astro's predebut online web drama ''To Be Continued''. Elly (as Jung Hae-rim), Choi Yoo-jung, Kim Do-yeon, and Sei (as Lee Seo-jeong, then under LOUDers Entertainment) competed in the Mnet survival television program Produce 101, which aired from January 22 to April 1, 2016. "Dazzle Dazzle" (stylized as "DAZZLE DAZZLE") is a song by South Korean girl group Weki Meki. It was released as their first digital single on February 20, 2020, by Fantagio Music and distributed by Kakao M. It was later included in their third extended play ''Hide and Seek'' (2020). Composition "Dazzle Dazzle" is a pop dance song with a mix of hip-hop and moombahton. The addictive bass line and the cheerful, cool brass sound further enhance the dynamic atmosphere of the song. It was written by Danke, STAINBOYS and Anna Timgren, and produced by the later two. Choi Yoo-jung (singer)
Choi Yoo-jung (; born November 12, 1999), known mononymously as Yoojung, is a South Korean singer, dancer, rapper and actress signed under Fantagio. She debuted as member of I.O.I in May 2016 after achieving third place in the 2016 survival program ''Produce 101''. In January 2017, I.O.I officially disbanded after eleven months of promotion. Following disbandment, she returned to her respective agency and eventually debuted with Weki Meki in August 2017. Choi debuted as a solo artist with the single album '' Sunflower'' in September 2022. Early life and education Choi Yoo-jung was born in Guri, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea on November 12, 1999. ''Weme'' (위미 "we-me") is the debut extended play by South Korean girl group Weki Meki. It was released on August 8, 2017, by Fantagio Music and distributed by Interpark. The EP consists of six songs, including the title track "I Don't Like Your Girlfriend". The EP peaked at number 7 on the Gaon Album Chart. It has sold over 47,000 physical copies, making it the highest selling album by a girl group that debuted in 2017. Background and release On August 3, 2017, a highlight medley of the album was released. On August 6, a video teaser was released, showing the group transforming from white outfits to colorful ones.
