Nouméa () is the capital and largest city of the French special collectivity of New Caledonia and is also the largest francophone city in Oceania. Samuel Raphael Pera Junior (born March 11, 1989) is a weightlifter from the Cook Islands, competing in the +105 kg category. He was born in Rarotonga. He is the son of weightlifter Sam Nunuku Pera, who represented the Cook Islands at the Summer Olympics in 1992, 1996, 2000, and 2004. David Katoatau (born July 17, 1984) is an I-Kiribati weightlifter. At the 2007 World Weightlifting Championships he ranked 37th in the 85 kg category, with a total of 281 kg. He ranked 4th in the 85 kg category at the 2008 Oceania Weightlifting Championships, with a total of 292 kg. Career Katoatau represented Kiribati in weightlifting at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China, and also was the national flag bearer at the opening ceremony.
