''We Rock Hard'' is the first album by the English electronic group Freestylers and their most commercially successful release to date. AllMusic describes the album as a run through of the band members' back catalogue, but it still showcases the classic big beat and breakbeat electronica that would remain the band's trademark sound along with ragga and dub twists. Beastie Boys
Beastie Boys were an American rap rock group from New York City, formed in 1978. The group was composed of Mike D, Michael "Mike D" Diamond (vocals, drums), Adam Yauch, Adam "MCA" Yauch (vocals, bass), and Ad-Rock, Adam "Ad-Rock" Horovitz (vocals, guitar, Programming (music), programming). Beastie Boys were formed out of members of experimental hardcore punk band the Young Aborigines in 1978, with Diamond as vocalist, Jeremy Shatan on bass guitar, John Berry (Beastie Boys), John Berry on guitar, and Kate Schellenbach on drums. WhoSampled is a website and app database of information about sampled music or sample-based music, cover songs and remixes. Soulsonic Force (also referred to as Afrika Bambaataa & Soulsonic Force) is an American electro-funk and hip hop ensemble led by Afrika Bambaataa who helped establish hip-hop in the early 1980s with songs such as " Planet Rock." Definition of Sound was a London-based dance-music group, consisting of Kevin Clark and Don Weekes, working with musicians Rex Brough (aka The Red King) and later Mike Spencer. ''Thrasher Presents Skate and Destroy'', also known as ''Thrasher: Skate and Destroy'', is a skateboard video game developed by Z-Axis and published by Rockstar Games for the PlayStation. The game was later published in Japan by UEP Systems on March 4, 2000 under the name ''Thrasher SK8''. A Game Boy Color version was also developed, but was later cancelled. Despite having less recognition, it received high scores from both ''IGN'' and ''GameSpot'', being seen as "technically superior to Tony Hawk" and an "almost sim-like approach to the sport". The Freestylers are a British electronic music group, consisting of producers Matt Cantor and Aston Harvey. They have released five studio albums and a number of mix compilations for, among others, Fabric and BBC Radio. The group took their name from their first sample "Don't Stop the Rock" by Freestyle, which they also sampled on Drop the Boom.
