We Are The People (Feeder Song)
"We Are the People" was the first and only top 40 single from Feeder's sixth studio album, '' Silent Cry''. The single was released on 9 June 2008, receiving its first radio play on Kerrang! Radio, two months before on 14 April. It charted at #25 in the UK becoming Feeder's landmark 20th top 40 single, but also their last to date after follow-up " Tracing Lines / Silent Cry" missed the top 200 alongside being their least successful lead single from any of their albums since 1999. "We Are the People" is also the first Feeder single since 1997's "Crash", to miss the BBC Radio 1 playlist and also the first of their singles since that one to only spend one week on the UK top 75. It was included on XFM's top 100 tracks of 2008 list. Although the single made No.2 on the physical sales chart, this was already at a time where artists rarely released CD singles and sales were already declining making a very small percentage of the sales market. Feeder (band)
Feeder are a Welsh rock band formed in Newport in 1994. They have released 11 studio albums, 12 compilations, four EPs and 43 singles, spending a combined total of 184 weeks on the singles and albums charts as of 2019, while accumulating 25 top 75 singles between 1997 and 2012. At their peak of commercial success, Feeder won two Kerrang! Awards in 2001 and 2003; they were inducted into their Hall of Fame in August 2019 for “Distinguished Services to Rock”. Feeder are one of the Britpop era bands to have continued success long after their peak. Takashi "Taka" Hirose (Japanese: タカ・ヒロセ (広瀬 隆), born 28 July 1967 in Mizuho, Japan) is a Japanese musician and chef who is the current bass guitarist for the rock band Feeder. Biography Hirose began playing bass at the age of 14 in secondary school and played in several jazz and metal bands during his school years. After leaving school, he moved to Tokyo and worked for guitar manufacturing specialists ESP as well as working at night in a downtown bar. In 1992 Hirose moved to London to study graphic design. After moving to London, Hirose planned to continue his musical activities, and answered an advertisement in the local ''Loot'' magazine from Grant Nicholas and Jon Lee, who were searching for a bassist in their new band, which would later become Feeder. Feeling A Moment
"Feeling a Moment" is a song by Welsh rock band Feeder from their fifth studio album, ''Pushing the Senses'' (2005). It was released as the second single from the album on 4 April 2005 and reached number 13 on the UK Singles Chart. The song also reached number 32 in Australia, becoming Feeder's only song to chart there. At the end of 2005, it was voted the 98th best song of the year by the readers of Q Magazine. The single includes a U-MYX application that allows the user to mix the track. A competition was held by the band's website "Feederweb" in which fans sent their remixes into a specially designed website in which they could upload their new mix, and the best one would then appear on the vinyl release of the next single. Mark Richardson (born 28 May 1970, Leeds) is an English drummer, known for being a member of the English rock group Skunk Anansie and formerly of Little Angels and Feeder. Music Little Angels (December 1991 – July 1994) In 1991 he moved to London to join Little Angels after Michael Lee left to join The Cult. Matt Sorum had left The Cult to join Guns and Roses after their drummer, Stephen Adler, had allegedly been kicked out due to his growing drug habit.
