We (band)
We (stylized as WE) is a Norwegian rock band from Oslo founded in 1992. Biography We debuted as house band for the NRK comic series "The Show" (with Otto Jespersen, Charlo Halvorsen and Stig Holmer) autumn 1992. After a few gigs in the Oslo region, including bands like Turboneger, the band's original bassist Paal V. Bakke was replaced by Geir Anders "Goshi" Jensen in 1993. Other band members are Thomas Felberg on vocals, Andreas "Don" Dons Kirkvaag on guitar and Kristian "Krisvaag" Dons Kirkvaag on drums, both sons of comedian Trond Kirkvaag (1946-2007). In 1994 the debut album ''In a Field of Moose'' was released on their own label Nun Music. Two years later We signed a record deal with the Metal Company Voices of Wonder and released the album ''Violently Coloured Sneakers'' (1996). Madrugada (band)
Madrugada is a Norwegian alternative rock band formed in the town of Stokmarknes in 1993. The key band members included Sivert Høyem (vocals), Robert Burås (guitar) and Frode Jacobsen (bass). After Burås' death on 12 July 2007, Høyem and Jacobsen decided to finish recording what was to be their final album with the original lineup. On 21 January 2008, the band released '' Madrugada'' and announced that they would split after one last tour. They performed their final concert of this tour on 15 November 2008. In June 2018 it was announced that Høyem, Jacobsen and Lauvland Pettersen had reformed the band for a series of shows in 2019. According to Anders Kaasen of Allmusic, the band was noted for "its bareboned blues-inspired alt-rock" at the end of the 1990s. Turboneger
Turbonegro (Turboneger in Norway) is a Norwegian rock band, active from 1989 to 1998 and from 2002 to the present. The band combines glam rock, punk rock, and hard rock into a self-described "deathpunk" musical style. History Early years (1989–1994) Turbonegro formed in Oslo during the winter of 1988–1989. The initial lineup consisted of Thomas Seltzer (a.k.a. Happy-Tom), Vegard Heskestad, Pål Bøttger Kjærnes, Rune Grønn, Pål Erik Carlin and Tor-Kristian "TK" Jenssen. Seltzer and Heskestad had formerly performed in a band called "De Dype" – a noisy and subversive ensemble inspired by American rock band Butthole Surfers. Motörhead
Motörhead () were an English rock band formed in London in 1975 by Lemmy (lead vocals, bass), Larry Wallis (guitar) and Lucas Fox (drums). Lemmy was also the primary songwriter and only constant member. The band are often considered a precursor to the new wave of British heavy metal, which re-energised heavy metal in the late 1970s and early 1980s. ''Sogn Avis'' is a Norwegian newspaper, published in Leikanger in Sogndal Municipality in Vestland county. It was named ''Sogns Avis'' from 1926 to 1972 and ''Sogningen/Sogns Avis'' from 1972 to 1993. It started on 21 August 1926 in Vikøyri, a small settlement that had lost the newspaper '' Sogningen'' in 1925. Its first editor was Thormod Liljedahl.
