"We'll Never Have to Say Goodbye Again" is a song by Jeffrey Comanor from the album ''A Rumor in His Own Time'', which debuted in September 1976. Written by Comanor, the song describes a couple who spend a night together, one which the narrator wishes would "never end". Both the song, which Epic Records released as a single, and album failed to chart. Discovered four months later by Arista Records President Clive Davis, "We'll Never Have to Say Goodbye Again" was covered by soft rock duo Deardorff & Joseph for their eponymous debut album, released on Arista. After Deardorff & Joseph disbanded, Marcia Day, who managed Maureen McGovern, became the manager of Deardorff, while Susan Joseph, who managed England Dan & John Ford Coley, became the manager of Joseph. England Dan & John Ford Coley
England Dan & John Ford Coley were an American soft rock duo composed of Danny Wayland "England Dan" Seals and John Edward "John Ford" Coley, active throughout the 1970s. Native Texans, they are best known for their 1976 single "I'd Really Love to See You Tonight", a No. 2 hit on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 and a No. 1 Adult Contemporary hit. After they disbanded, Seals began performing as Dan Seals and launched a country music career through the 1980s which produced 11 No. 1 country hits. Chart rankings are based on sales (physical and digital), radio play, and online streaming in the United States. "Dust in the Wind" is a song recorded by American progressive rock band Kansas and written by band member Kerry Livgren, first released on their 1977 album ''Point of Know Return''. The song peaked at No. 6 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 the week of April 22, 1978, making it Kansas's only single to reach the top ten in the US. ''Maureen McGovern'' is Maureen McGovern's fourth studio album (and her first in four years), released in 1979 on Curb Records. It reached #162 on the Billboard Hot 200 list of popular albums. This album contains McGovern's movie theme ("Can You Read My Mind," the love theme from the 1978 film '' Superman'') and "Different Worlds," the theme from the TV series '' Angie'', which peaked at #1 for two weeks on the Adult Contemporary chart and #18 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 chart in 1979. It shows a new image that McGovern created for herself; she had her long blonde hair cut short and dyed it brown (she would change her image a few more times over the years, particularly during the 1980s). ''Dinah!'' is a daytime variety talk show that was hosted by singer and actress Dinah Shore. The series was distributed by 20th Century Fox Television and premiered on October 21, 1974, in syndication.
