Wayne Pinnock
Wayne Pinnock (born 24 October 2000) is a Jamaican athlete who competes in the long jump. Pinnock finished ninth in the 2022 World Athletics Championships – Men's long jump on his major championship debut. Track and field is a sport that includes athletic contests based on running, jumping, and throwing skills. 2022 NCAA Division I Indoor Track And Field Championships
The 2022 NCAA Division I Indoor Track and Field Championships were the 57th NCAA Division I Men's Indoor Track and Field Championships and the 40th NCAA Division I Women's Indoor Track and Field Championships, held at the Birmingham CrossPlex in Birmingham, Alabama. In total, thirty-four different men's and women's indoor track and field events were contested from March 11 to March 12, 2022. On the women's side, Florida took home the team title with 67 points, with Texas (56) and Kentucky (44) following in 2nd and 3rd. The 2022 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships was the 100th NCAA Division I Men's Outdoor Track and Field Championships and the 40th NCAA Division I Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships held at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon on the campus of the University of Oregon. 42 events (21 men's and 21 women's) were contested from Wednesday, June 8 until Saturday, June 11, starting with the men's decathlon and ending with the women's relay. 2022 World Athletics Championships – Men's Long Jump
The men's long jump at the 2022 World Athletics Championships was held at the Hayward Field in Eugene on 15 and 16 July 2022. 34 athletes from 21 nations entered to the competition. Summary The first round ended with nobody jumping over 8 metres. Indian record holder Murali Sreeshankar, using the mononymous "Sreeshankar", held the lead at 7.96m.
