Wayne Horsburgh
Wayne Horsburgh (born 11 June 1955, in Benalla, Victoria) is an Australian country music entertainer. He currently lives near Sydney, Australia, and Branson, Missouri, United States. Horsburgh's career began at the age of 11 when he formed his own dance band in rural Victoria /sup>. In 1978, he was asked by Buddy Williams (An Australian pioneer of country music) /sup> to tour Australia. By 1979, Horsburgh had moved to Sydney to pursue his musical career /sup>. Benalla, Victoria
Benalla is a small city located on the Broken River gateway to the High Country north-eastern region of Victoria, Australia, about north east of the state capital Melbourne. At the the population was 10,822. It is the administrative centre for the Rural City of Benalla local government area. History Prior to the European settlement of Australia, the Benalla region was populated by the Taungurung people, an Indigenous Australian people. A 1906 history recounts that prior to white settlement "as many as 400 blacks would meet together in the vicinity of Benalla to hold a corrobboree". The Australian Entertainment Mo Awards (commonly known informally as the Mo Awards) were an annual Australian entertainment industry award, that where established in 1975, to recognise achievements in live entertainment in Australia. They were last awarded in 2016. Lucky Grills, actor and comedian came up with the idea to create an awards show to celebrate Australian Variety, during a meeting in 1975. The Mo Awards, initially were founded as the Star Awards and were a state honour in New South Wales only, local entertainers started the awards to promote the live entertainment industry in New South Wales. Deniese Morrison
Deniese Morrison is an Australian country singer-songwriter. Biography Deniese was born in Tamworth, New South Wales and raised in Kootingal. At the age of 10, she was invited on the stage at Kootingal Town Hall to sing at a Johnny Ashcroft concert. At the age of 13, she started performing with the Geoff Brown Showband. At the age of 16, she won the female vocal section of the Capital Country Music Association’s Jamboree, (which was the forerunner to the Golden Guitar Awards and the Tamworth Country Music Festival). In 1973 Morrison was signed to Fable records and released her debut single "No Charge". Morrison said "Signed a contract with Fable Records and released my first single "No Charge", produced by Doug Trevor.
