Wayne Daniel
Wayne Wendell Daniel (born 16 January 1956) is a former cricketer, who played as a right arm fast bowler. Daniel featured for the West Indies, Middlesex, Barbados and Western Australia in his cricketing career. Cricket career Born in St Phillip, Barbados, Daniel picked up cricket at a young age. Evolving into a hostile and muscular fast bowler, Daniel first toured England with the West Indies schoolboys team in 1974 and Middlesex's Second XI in 1975. After such he made his first-class debut for Barbados in 1975/76. Daniel, in partnership with fellow fast bowlers Michael Holding and Andy Roberts, contributed greatly to the defeat of England in 1976. The West Indian cricket team toured England in 1976, spending virtually the whole of the 1976 English cricket season in England. West Indies also played one match in Ireland in July. Having drawn the 1973-74 series in the West Indies, England started the series in confident mood, with their captain Tony Greig proclaiming before TV cameras that England would make West Indies "grovel". Greig was never allowed to forget that comment, although in a subsequent interview many years later he recounted that his comment was born out of frustration with the journalist interviewing him at Hove in early season 1976. Kent County Cricket Club is one of the eighteen first-class county clubs within the domestic cricket structure of England and Wales. It represents the historic county of Kent. The County Championship (referred to as the LV= Insurance County Championship for sponsorship reasons) is the domestic first-class cricket competition in England and Wales and is organised by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB). Glamorgan County Cricket Club ( cy, Criced Morgannwg) is one of eighteen first-class county clubs within the domestic cricket structure of England and Wales. It represents the historic county of Glamorgan ( cy, Morgannwg). Courtney Andrew Walsh OJ (born 30 October 1962) is a former Jamaican cricketer who represented the West Indies from 1984 to 2001, captaining the West Indies in 22 Test matches.
