Wawa Pictures () is an independent television production company based in Singapore. It has produced dramas such as '' Three Wishes'' (2014), ''Crescendo'' (2015), ''Fire Up'' (2016) and ''Doppelganger'' (2018). Channel 5 (Chinese: 五頻道) is a free-to-air, English-language television channel in Singapore. Owned by state broadcaster Mediacorp, it broadcasts general entertainment, news, and sports programming. The channel's logo is a big white number 5 superimposed on a blue bar. History At 6:00pm SGT on 15 February 1963, Channel 5 was launched as its first pilot television service as "TV Singapura". The channel operated 1-hour and 40-minutes monochrome service on black and white during its daily test transmissions from 6:00pm to 7:40pm SGT. Thomas Ong Thian Chai (, born 1 February 1969) is a Singaporean actor, television host and businessman who films on an ad-hoc basis. MeWATCH
meWATCH is a Singaporean digital video on demand service brand owned by Mediacorp. It was launched on 1 February 2013 as an over-the-top media service and an entertainment and lifestyle website Toggle. On 1 April 2015, xinmsn, an internet portal which is a joint venture between MediaCorp and Microsoft, was closed down and merged with Toggle. On 30 January 2020, Toggle was renamed meWATCH. Content meWATCH offers to worldwide audiences video streaming or on-demand content of programs from Mediacorp's archived library as well as original webseries. In addition, meWatch also offers live streaming of Mediacorp's free-to-air channels (exclusive to Singapore only).
