Steve Waterman (born February 27, 1950) is a producer for both movies and television. He was co-producer for ''Casper'' and executive producer for ''Stuart Little'' and ''Stuart Little 2''. He also executive produced the live-action/CGI animated ''Alvin and the Chipmunks'', '' Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel'', '' Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked'' and '' Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip''. He also co-created the 1990s television series ''High Tide''. In 1999, Waterman formed his own production company, Waterman Entertainment. In 2011, the company gained film rights for '' Strikeforce: Morituri'' from creator Peter B. Gillis expected to be its first live action film. Strikeforce was to start production in December 2011. Casper (film)
''Casper'' is a 1995 American fantasy film directed by Brad Silberling, in his feature film directorial debut, based on the Harvey Comics cartoon character Casper the Friendly Ghost created by Seymour Reit and Joe Oriolo. The film stars Christina Ricci, Bill Pullman, Cathy Moriarty and Eric Idle, with voice talents of Joe Nipote, Joe Alaskey, Brad Garrett and the film introduction of Malachi Pearson in the title role. The film makes extensive use of computer-generated imagery to create the ghosts, and it is the first feature film to have a fully CGI character in the lead role. It goes for a much darker interpretation of the Friendly Ghost in comparison to the comics, cartoons and films of the previous years, especially with its theme of death, most notably providing the character a tragic backstory that addresses his death. Kull The Conqueror
''Kull the Conqueror'' is a 1997 fantasy film about the Robert E. Howard character Kull starring Kevin Sorbo. It is a film adaptation of Howard's Conan novel ''The Hour of the Dragon'', with the protagonist changed to the author's other barbarian hero Kull. The storyline also bears similarities to two other Howard stories, the Kull story " By This Axe I Rule!" and the Conan story "The Phoenix on the Sword", which was a rewritten version of "By This Axe I Rule!"
