Nikolaos Deligiannis (water Polo)
Nikolaos "Nikos" Deligiannis ( gr, Νικόλαος Δεληγιάννης, born 3 September 1976 in Athens) is a Greek former water polo player who competed in the 2000 Summer Olympics (10th place), the 2004 Summer Olympics (4th place), the 2008 Summer Olympics (7th place) and the 2012 Summer Olympics (9th place) with the Greece men's national water polo team. He was also part of the Greece national squad who won the Bronze Medal in the 2005 World Championship in Montreal and the Bronze Medal in the 2004 World League in Long Beach. At club level, Deligiannis had a long and successful career playing for Greek powerhouse Olympiacos for 14 years (2001–2015), with whom he won 1 LEN Champions League, 1 LEN Super Cup, 12 Greek Championships and 12 Greek Cups. Dubravko Šimenc
Dubravko Šimenc (born 2 November 1966 in Zagreb) is a former Croatian water polo player who competed for both Yugoslavia and Croatia, and later water polo coach. Dubravko Šimenc's father Zlatko was a water polo player who won the silver medal at the 1964 Summer Olympics playing for Yugoslavia, and also a professor at the Faculty of Kinesiology. Šimenc's mother was a volleyball player. As a boy, Šimenc played many different sports. He started to play water polo in 1975. Šimenc's first major medal was silver in the 1985 European Championships with Yugoslavia. The following year, his club Mladost won the World Champion title in Madrid. He was given the honour to carry the national flag of Croatia at the opening ceremony of the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, becoming the 20th water polo player to be a flag bearer at the opening and closing ceremonies of the Olympics. Vjekoslav Kobešćak
Vjekoslav Kobešćak (born 20 January 1974) is a Croatian professional water polo coach and former player. He competed in the 1996, 2000 and 2004 Summer Olympics, representing the Croatia national team. He is currently the head coach of VK Jug. His father Vlado is a former president of the Croatian Water Polo Federation, while his brother Dario is a former Croatian water polo player. He is married Antonia Kojan. On 3 February 2000, Kobeščak was sentenced in Municipal Court in Croatia to a one year prison sentence.
