Watab Township is an urban township in Benton County, Minnesota, United States, located north of the mouth of Watab Creek on the opposite side of the Mississippi River in Sartell. The population was 3,093 as of the 2010 census. History Watab Township was organized in 1858. It took its name from the Watab River. Geography According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of , of which is land and , or 9.39%, is water. It is slightly larger than half of a normal (36-section) township, being bounded on the west by the Mississippi River.
