Wassim El Banna ( ar, وسيم البنا; born 10 May 1979) is a former professional footballer who played as a forward. He has represented Odense Boldklub, Aarhus Fremad, and Vejle Boldklub in the Danish Superliga. Born in Lebanon to Palestinian parents, El Banna obtained Danish citizenship in 1997. He represented Denmark internationally at youth level between 1997 and 1998. Wasim Sajjad ( ur, ; born 30 March 1941) is a Pakistani conservative politician and lawyer who served as the acting president of Pakistan for two non-consecutive terms and as the Chairman of the Senate between 1988 and 1999. Born in Jalandhar, British India, Sajjad's father (Justice Sajjad Ahmad Jan) went on to serve as a judge of the Supreme Court, later becoming Chief Election Commissioner of Pakistan. Sajjad studied at the Army Burn Hall before moving to Lahore where he studied law at the Punjab University. Wasim Gulzar Khan (born 26 February 1971) is a former British cricketer who was the first British-Pakistani player to play professional cricket in England. S. M. Wasim Jafri () is a Pakistani gastroenterologist. He serves as a professor of medicine and head of the gastroenterology section at the Aga Khan University Hospital (AKUH), Karachi, Pakistan. Wasim Jaffer (born 16 February 1978) is an Indian retired professional cricketer. He was a right-handed opening batsman and an occasional right arm off-break bowler.
