''Warrior'' is the debut and only full-length album by American rock band Scandal (billed on the album as "Scandal featuring Patty Smyth"). The album reached a high of #17 on the U.S. ''Billboard'' Hot 200 album chart on the strength of the lead single "The Warrior". In 2014, an expanded and remastered edition was released, which included as bonus tracks the five songs from 1982's ''Scandal'' (EP). Scandal is an American rock band from the 1980s fronted by Patty Smyth. The band scored a hit in the United States with the song " The Warrior", which peaked at No. 7 in 1984. Other hits were " Goodbye to You" (1982 – No. 65 US), "Love's Got a Line on You" (1983 – No. 59 US), "Hands Tied" (1984 – No. 41 US), and "Beat of a Heart" (1985 – No. 41 US). Only The Young (Journey Song)
"Only the Young" is a song written by Jonathan Cain, Steve Perry and Neal Schon of the band Journey. Previously intended for Journey's 1983 album ''Frontiers'', it was pulled from the album within days of recording in favor of songs "Back Talk" and "Troubled Child". It was then sold to the band Scandal, who released it in 1984 on their album ''Warrior'', as the first commercially released version of the song. Journey's version was included on the soundtrack to the 1985 film ''Vision Quest'', and was also released as a single which reached the top 10 of the U.S. ''Billboard'' Hot 100. Background The first individual outside the band to hear the song was sixteen-year-old Kenny Sykaluk of Rocky River, Ohio, who was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis. Lee Patrick Mastelotto (born September 10, 1955) is an American rock drummer and record producer. He has been a member of King Crimson, Stick Men, Mr. Mister and O.R.k., as well as working as a session drummer with XTC, The Pointer Sisters and The Rembrandts, among others. In addition, he has led or co-led other projects including Mastica, Tuner, TU and The Mastelottos. For King Crimson, he initially formed part of the "Double Trio" lineup from 1994 to 1997, working with Bill Bruford as part of a double-drumkit arrangement. Thommy Price
Thommy Price (born December 9, 1956) is an American musician. He has played drums in a number of bands, including Scandal, Billy Idol, Blue Öyster Cult, and Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, and is an in-demand session drummer. History Price was already on the road drumming by the age of 16. One of his first prolific gigs was playing drums for the band Scandal. He performed on the band's classic ''Warrior'' album before moving on to Billy Idol. In 1986, he started drumming for Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, and he's been a member of the band for the past 28 years, even though he was originally just a studio musician. On the side, Price formed the band Price/Sulton with his childhood friend and music partner Kasim Sulton. They co-wrote the music and Price played guitar and did vocals. The Kent Music Report was a weekly record chart of Australian music singles and albums which was compiled by music enthusiast David Kent from May 1974 through to January 1999. The chart was re-branded the Australian Music Report (AMR) in July 1987. From June 1988, the Australian Recording Industry Association, which had been using the top 50 portion of the report under licence since mid-1983, chose to produce their own listing as the ARIA Charts.
